Yes. It works best in bird baths and shallow basins about 12-24 inches wide, with at least 1.2 inches of water depth. For shallow bowls, use a lower spray nozzle or bubbler setup to reduce splashing.

No. The built-in battery helps provide steadier daytime water flow when sunlight changes, but this model is not designed for all-night operation.
Can I use it for a DIY dripper or small water feature?
Yes. The included 5 ft tubing can be used for a simple low-height dripper or small water feature. For best performance, keep the lift height under 1-2 ft. It is not recommended for strong waterfalls or large tiered fountains.
Will it splash water out of my bird bath?
It may splash if the bowl is too small, too shallow, or if a high spray nozzle is used. For shallow bird baths, choose a lower spray pattern, use the bubbler mode, or adjust the nozzle height.
How is this different from a basic solar fountain disk?

Yes. It works well in small patio bowls, tubs, and container water gardens around 1-10 gallons. Make sure the pump stays fully submerged and the solar panel receives direct sunlight.
Can I use it in a small pond?
Yes, it can be used in small ponds up to 40-160 gallons for light fountain movement. It is not designed for large ponds, koi ponds, or heavy-duty water circulation.
How does the battery backup work?
The battery stores solar energy during sunny conditions and helps the pump keep running more steadily during weak sunlight or passing clouds. Runtime depends on sunlight, battery charge, nozzle choice, and water setup.
Does it need an outdoor power outlet?

How often should I clean the pump?
